Doctor of Physical Therapy

The Hawaiʻi Pacific University Innovative Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program is the first of its kind in Hawaiʻi. The Program is delivered in 24 months using a hybrid format, combining the best of online learning with in-person lab immersions located at HPU's beautiful downtown Honolulu campus.

Doctor of Occupational Therapy

The Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program is delivered over the course of two years combining the highest level of online learning with in-person lab immersions, allowing students to remain in their communities and become a member of the HPU ʻohana. Students complete Fieldwork all over the country, culminating their time in the program with the Doctoral Capstone project and experience.

Master of Medical Science - Physician Assistant

The Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant (MMS-PA) Program is committed to preparing physician assistants to care for communities in Hawaiʻi and underserved populations. This program is a rigorous, full-time, 24-month, program of study culminating in the Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree.

  • Didactic year is delivered in a hybrid format, with a combination of remote and in-person learning
  • Daily synchronous and asynchronous engagement with experienced faculty
